The organization provides a platform to inspire the youth of the country to be involved in local and national issues as well as actively discuss information. The APY runs on the principles of freedom of expression and the free flow of information, thereby bringing life into the democratic system.
Young people have the energy, desire and skills to effect change and APY attempts to organize the youth and empower them to speak as well as provide the space for them to be heard. The organisation aims to make the youth effectively involved in their communities.
APY also aims to provides access to information, provide opportunities for learning, improve capacity building measures, increase cross cultural awareness and provide self development for youth.
