Initially, this listserve will serve to facilitate discussion among undergrads, grads, faculty, staff, and community members committed to democratizing education in the United States. Immediate projects include the development and distribution of campus organizing resources; organization of a convention on democracy and higher education, teach-ins on the corporatization of higher education, democratic alternatives, and the broader democracy movement; and preparations for a national higher education strike. This listserve may be supplemented in the future by broader announcement and discussion lists.
